Engineers Without Borders is non-profit organization that specializes in small-scale projects in third world countries. As Founder Bernard Amadei describes its mission, "the world doesn't need any more big dams. The world needs clean water, energy and basic services for the billions struggling just to stay alive at the end of each day." The imagery behind the poster series, puts the people and environments of our society in daily experiences of those in the third world. Those struggles are usually out of site out of mind, and if in mind, might be considered acceptable. When the imagery is flipped to someone the viewer might recognize, then the ridiculousness of these experiences is realized.
